Ariadne Srl, owner of this website and the brand "ACM - Ariadne Content Manager", is committed to protecting the privacy of its users and to protect personal data collected in compliance with the D. Decree 196/03: "Codice in materia di protezione dei dati personali" (Code regarding the protection of personal data, or "the Code"). This information is provided pursuant to Art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196 (30 June 2003) for users who consult and interact with this site and use the services provided.

This information is applicable only for the websites "www.ariadne.it" (hereinafter "the Ariadne site") and "www.ariadnecontentmanager.com" (hereinafter "the Ariadne Content Manager site"), and not for other websites that may be accessed via links.

Objectives of data processing

Ariadne S.r.l., as the data controller,, processes:

  • personal data - provided voluntarily by users by means of forms - for the sole purpose of providing the requested services (booking of product demos and subscription to periodic newsletters);
  • navigation-related data - collected automatically and anonymously - exclusively for statistical purposes and to improve the user experience of the site.

Mode of treatment of data provided voluntarily by the user

Data processing will take place using both automated and manual methods, in accordance with confidentiality and security regulations prescribed by law. The collection of such information takes place only via the form on the site. The data will be used only by employees and data processors appointed by Ariadne Srl for data processing. The data will be used to manage requests for product demos from interested parties and for the sending of information via electronic newsletters. No other personal user data is acquired from the Ariadne and Ariadne Content Manager sites. No personal user data will be sold to third parties in any form or manner.

Navigation data

Some personal information is collected implicitly through the use of Internet communication protocols during normal navigation. This category includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users to connect, the method used to submit requests to the server, and other parameters regarding the operating system and the user's computer system. Such data are used anonymously and only for statistical purposes in connection with use of the site.

Cookies

The Ariadne and Ariadne Content Manager sites do not use cookies to transmit information of a personal nature. The use of session cookies (which are not stored permanently on the user's computer and are deleted when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to transmitting session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to enable safe and efficient navigation of the site. Session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other technologies that could compromise users` browsing privacy and do not allow acquisition of personal data that identifies users. You may block the use of cookies with the corresponding browser settings.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (hereinafter "Google") to determine the level of interest in particular topics and to measure the effectiveness of communications. Such data will be used by Ariadne to obtain more complete and up-to-date information on the various types of interventions, on specific targets, on subjects of activity and to effect more efficient promotion of their initiatives.

Google Analytics uses cookies to help the website analyse how users access/use the site. Information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and Internet usage.

Google may also disclose this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, but this may impede use of all the features of the website. By using this website, you consent to Google processing data about you in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Digital newsletter

With the prior consent of the user, data collected via the site shall be used to deliver electronic newsletters providing information on Ariadne´s activities. The person concerned may at any time stop the sending of these communications by writing to info@ariadne.it, or by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any Ariadne newsletter.

In some of our e-mail communications, we use a so-called "click-through URL". By clicking on one of these URLs, you pass through an intermediary website before arriving at the destination website. Ariadne uses this system in order to determine the level of interest in particular topics and to measure the effectiveness of its communications. This data will be used by Ariadne to facilitate more complete, more effective promotion of its initiatives.

Provision of data and consent

Aside from navigation data, provision of data is entirely optional and refusal to do so shall not affect navigation of the website. However, pursuant to Art. 130, para. 4 of the Code, the user may in a smooth and simple manner unsubscribe from the newsletter or prevent data processing at any later time.

Data processor is the company Ariadne S.r.l., with business address at Via Visconti di Modrone 11, Milan; and with operating headquarters at Via del Torchio 1, Torre d’Isola (PV).

Rights of the interested party

The individual connected with the personal data is at any time entitled to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of such data, to learn its content and origin, to verify its accuracy or to request its integration or updating, rectification or deletion pursuant to Art. 7 Legislative Decree No. 196/03, by writing to the data controller, by post or e-mail (to info@ariadne.it). Subscribers - pursuant to the provisions of Art. 130, Para. 4 of the code - may at any time cancel subscription to the newsletter, which should be possible in an easy manner.

Art. 7 (Right of access to personal data and other rights)

The interested party has the right to obtain information about:

a) the origin of personal data;
b) the purposes and modes of processing;
c) the rationale applied in case of processing with the aid of electronic instruments;
d) the identity of the owner, manager and the representative appointed under Article 5.2;
e) the subjects or categories of parties to whom the personal data may be communicated or who can access/become aware of the data as appointed representatives of the State, managers or agents.

The interested party also has the right to:

a) the updating, rectification or, when it affects him, integration of data;
b) deletion, conversion into anonymous form or blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data which need not be kept for the purposes collected for or subsequently processed;
c) certification that the operations in letters a) and b) have been made known, also with regard to their contents, to those to whom the data were communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves means manifestly disproportionate to the right protected.

The interested party has the right to object, in whole or in part, to:

a) (for legitimate reasons) processing of respective personal data, even if pertinent to the scope of collection;
b) processing of respective personal data for the purposes of sending advertising materials, direct selling, market research or commercial communications.
